Regardless of the type of profession you’re in, the technology, tools, and strategies you use in the workplace are constantly evolving.

Picture it…the United States of America…1965. Mary Poppins and the Sound of Music were breaking box office records. The Beatles performed at Shea Stadium. The Monkees were a television phenomenon. The Gateway Arch in St. Louis was completed. Gas was 31 cents a gallon and a loaf of bread cost you 21 cents. Sarah Jessica Parker, Chris Rock, and Bjork were born and Nat King Cole, T.S. Eliot, and Winston Churchill passed away. The LA Dodges won the World Series and the Boston Celtics were the NBA champions.
Also, FCPA (now known as the Florida Association of Colleges and Employers) was conceived in April 1965 during a meeting of career services directors at the University of South Florida. In June 2015, Florida ACE will be celebrating its 50th anniversary during the annual conference in Saint Augustine. Details are still coming together, but I am thrilled to make a few announcements.
The conference will be taking place June 17th-19th at the Renaissance World Golf Village and Resort. You can now make your hotel reservation through this site:
You can also access the 2015 Conference Schedule here!
I am also very excited to announce this year’s conference theme. In 2015, Florida ACE will be “Honoring the Past, Treasuring the Present, Charting the Future”. If you are interested in volunteering, please feel free to email me at email@example.com. Look for new conference updates soon.
