Message from the President

I know it may be a little late to say this but, Happy New Year everyone! Wow! I can’t believe how fast time flies. With a new year comes new challenges and rewards. I know this all too well with welcoming a new addition to our family. It is very challenging in a rewarding way but I would not change it for anything. With saying this I have a couple of challenges and rewards for you.del

I challenge each and every one of you to register for the conference in beautiful, historic St. Augustine, FL as well as book your hotel room early because the reward for doing so will be a conference experience like no other. Adam Derosa, Conference Chair, as well as the board and committee members, are putting together a conference that will blow your socks off. I am so happy to be a part of such an exciting team.

I challenge you to get involved this year. If you’re not on a committee and would like to volunteer for one, please contact Adam Derosa at vice.president@florida-ace.org to sign up today. The rewards for volunteering are endless. You are able to network with members of FloridaACE in a different way than just attending the conference. You will get hands on experience of what it means to be Honoring the Past, Treasuring the Present, and Charting the Future.

I challenge you lastly but most importantly to become a sponsor. Our conferences are made possible due to so many of you and your generous donations. If you’ve never sponsored before, I challenge you to do so.  It is rewarding to know that you helped make the conference what it will be. You are able to walk away thinking, “I helped make this happen.”  If you would like to go ahead and do this, please contact our President’s Council Chair member, Robert Liddell at robert.liddell@saintleo.edu.

In conclusion, I hope these challenges, if opted to take part in, will be just as rewarding to you as it has been for me. I thank you all once again for the opportunity to serve as your President this year. I am looking forward to work with such a talented group of professionals and the opportunities for professional development for all of us. Here’s to an exciting conference!
